FIRST LOOK: Laura Vandervoort as Indigo In Supergirl: “Solitude”
First images of Smallville alumni Laura Vandervoort in full costume and make-up as the treacherous villain Indigo from the next episode of Supergirl, “Solitude”, have been released online by CBS. Vandervoort herself played Supergirl/Kara Kent on the successful CW series, Smallville, and was the focus of its seventh season.
Upon viewing these images, you can’t help noticing how much the character resembles Marvel’s character, Mystique, of the X-Men movies and comics. But forget that. What’s more interesting is the markings on her forehead. She clearly bears the three connected dot brand of none other than, Brainiac, the cold and callous alien obsessed with the control of knowledge that attempted to conquer Kara’s home world of Krypton. This in itself makes the potential for future episodes to be amazing.
Check out the new images below along with the previously released images of the Fortress of Solitude form the same episode.
