Normally here at Super Cineverse we don’t post rumors. But since the same information was presented to us by two different reliable sources we decided that it’s more than likely to be valid and post worthy.
So let’s just jump right into it. So it seems that DC Entertainment is taking the Batman/Superman rivalry that we’ll be seeing on screen in Batman v Superman; Dawn of Justice to the TV screen in the form of dueling teasers for the film. One of the teasers will have more of a Batman spin on it while the other a Superman spin.
Pretty cool, huh? But wait. It gets better. These spots, both about a minute in length, will air on the night of October 26. Are you starting to get a whiff of where this is going yet? To further enhance the rivalry theme, the Batman teaser will be broadcast during that night’s episode of Gotham on Fox and the Superman spot during the premiere of Supergirl over on CBS. A pretty ingenious idea.
Normally, both shows will be duking it out by going head to head each week, but Supergirl will not be premiering in its normal time slot which will allow viewers to easily see both spots as they air.
Our sources also tell us that these teasers will eventually evolve into a full-length theatrical trailer to be seen in theaters later this fall. The films that this trailer will be shown with are not yet known.
