This year marks the 80th anniversary of Bob Kane and Bill Finger‘s iconic creation, Batman, and, as if in response to the Bat-Signal, DC is answering the call by teaming up with multiple collaborators in the US and Canada, to make this milestone as dynamic as the character himself.
Christopher Nolan‘s Dark Knight Trilogy will be screening in select IMAX theatres in five different cities across the North America. Commencing on March 30th the trilogy of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises will be screened at the Universal Cinema AMC in Hollywood and include a Q&A session with director Christopher Nolan himself.
The trilogy will screen on the East Coast on April 13th at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City and on the West Coast at the AMC Metreon in San Francisco. The Cinesphere Ontario Place in Toronto will be the place to be on April 20th, and at the IMAX Theatre at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis.
All showings will be in 70mm format and will also be accompanied by the footage of Nolan’s Los Angeles appearance.
Tickets for the screenings go on sale Wednesday at 9am PT.
