A smattering of normalcy returns to the world as The CW has releases photos from the upcoming sixteenth episode of The Flash‘s sixth season, titled “So Long and Goodnight”, which will air next Tuesday, April 21.
A new threat hits close to home for Team Flash when they are forced to go up against the mysterious Black Hole organization which has targeted Joe (Jesse L. Martin) for assassination. This episode also brings the return of Sue Dearbon (Natalie Dreyfuss) who got the better of Ralph and double-crossed him earlier this season. Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) continues to struggle with the loss of his powers due to the demise of the Speed Force, and the mayhem of the yet to be discovered, “Mirror Iris”, continues.
Like the majority of The CW’s programming, The Flash too has been on a forced hiatus due to production shutdowns which come as a direct result of the coronavirus pandemic. The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will both return on Tuesday, April 21. Batwoman is set to return on Sunday, April 26, and Supergirl will return on May 3. Any additional delays have yet to be announced.
